Lots of exciting things will be happening here in the next few months. First we are working on a craft fair, which will be in September. The fair will include crafts from local crafters and will be held at the community Art Gallery. Some of the items that will be showcased are handmade soaps, candles, knitted pieces, pottery, cards, jewelry and lots of fun gift ideas.

Make It Yourself Air Freshener

Discovered this the other day when I wanted to freshen up a room. I used an empty spray bottle and added distilled water and a few drops of rose essential oil. Worked great and I was able to get a very soft scent of roses. Sometimes commercial spray's are just to heavy and about knock me over with the scent.

Another new frame has been added to my website. By using several different patterns and shades of pink I was able to create this frame. The frame was handmade by me in my studio and can be purchased online for $35.00 plus shipping.

It is almost April and everything is waking for a long winter sleep including me! I have been busy in my work room coming up with lots of new ideas.

While in California working I loved the almost daily sunshine and beautiful flowers. After arriving back in Georgia was disappointed that it was not warm enough for flowers. For the last week the flowers are coming out and everything is looking really great. The sky is blue and the sun is so nice a warm.

During the winter months I was working in my design room and came up with some new pictures frames.

Well I have been having fun in my sewing room! On November 2nd the 12 Days of Christmas Shop Hop starts and I am excited to be a part of it. Here is a sneak peek of what I have been up to! This is a table runner that I made for a client in California. The fabrics are from Africa and were all hand printed the colors are so rich and vibrant I just loved sewing with them.

A lot has happened since my last post! I went to Williamsburg VA for the first annual MMP retreat and was it fun! Was able to meet lots of pink sisters and be able to chat in person! The retreat was everything I thought it would be plus more. The speakers where great, and I learned so much and hope to use some of the knowledge that I learned on my website.

On Wednesday October 1st I will be posting some new items to my website and hope that you will stop by my site to check everything out! Have a great week!

Its Sunday morning here in North Georgia. I love the cool crisp mornings the birds are waking, and the sun is about to peak over the tree tops.

I have been working on dying silk to make Christmas stockings and accessories for that special time of year. MMP business retreat will be in 3 weeks and I am working on my display and hope to have it finished before leaving.

This is a rag quilt that I made during the winter months. My Dad wanted something to keep him warm, so I used 100 wool batting between the layers! The quilt keeps him nice and warm!

Today my website will be up and running and can hardly wait.
